A Special Message to Our Future Hounds Regarding COVID-19

As the COVID-19 situation continues to change rapidly, we want you to know that Assumption is committed to doing what we can to help you during this difficult time. As a result, we are taking the following steps to ease the stress of the university search process on you and your family.

  1. The Assumption University Board of Trustees have authorized the creation of a $3 million fund to assist current students and incoming members of the Class of 2024 whose families are facing financial hardship as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Learn more about applying for assistance.
  2. We have extended our enrollment deposit deadline to June 1 to allow for some breathing room in terms of making a final university decision.
  3. We have decreased our enrollment deposit from $400 to $50 because we want to do what we can to reduce the expenses you need to think about over the next couple of months. We hope this will provide a little extra cash in your pocket at a time when you may need it most.
  4. We are developing creative ways to connect with you virtually since experiencing campuses and connecting with current students, faculty, and other community members is an essential step in determining the right fit school for you.

Assumption is a close-knit community and especially in trying times, we seek ways to support each other. This will be just the first step in our commitment to your Assumption education and journey.
