Alumni and Desautels Halls

Often referred to as “Alum” and “Des” by students, these side-by-side buildings are identical residence halls located toward the front of campus. The buildings primarily house first-year students in double-bed dorms and are both co-ed by floor.

Salisbury Hall

Located near Hagan Campus Center and Brian Kelly ‘83 Stadium, Salisbury aka “Sals” primarily houses first-year and sophomore students in triple and quad-style dorm rooms.

Hanrahan Hall

Hanrahan is primarily home to first-year students in Assumption’s Honors Program. The rooms are traditional double and triple bed rooms with community bathrooms, washers and dryers, and common areas. 

Mouqin Hall

These five-person apartments boast a kitchen, bathroom, front and back porch, and three bedrooms. Primarily housing seniors, apartments are set up in a “U” shape around a turf common area where residents typically hang out during the warmer months. 

Dion Hall

These four-person townhouses are located across the street from Brian Kelly ‘83 Stadium and close to other senior living buildings like Moquin, Authier, and Dufault Halls. 

Bissonnette Hall

The Bissonnette townhouses are four-person that primarily house upperclassmen and graduate students.

Nault and Young Hall

Along with Hanrahan Hall, these two buildings round out the area of campus known as “the Hill” – with all three residential buildings facing each other atop one of Assumption’s hills. Nault is Assumption’s “substance-free” housing and along with Young house students from all classes. 

Wachusett Hall

Located between the LLC and Worcester Hall, Wachusett Hall houses groups of five students and features accommodations such as a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and two bedrooms (one triple, one double)

Living Learning Center

The LLC is a unique living experience for students to become totally immersed in their development as students and as humans. The six-story apartment-style building features four-person apartment suites with central air conditioning, a kitchen, living room, two bedrooms, and bathroom. Its residents, primarily sophomores, participate in “Interest Circles” – regular group discussions throughout the year facilitated by faculty on themed topics of interest.

Tsotsis Family Academic Center

Opened in 2017, the 62,000 square foot state-of-the-art Tsotsis Family Academic Center (TFAC) features 13 high-tech flexible classrooms, seminar rooms, the Lagarce Trading Room, common study spaces, a 400-seat performance hall with rehearsal room, and ballroom.

The building is also home to the Grenon School of Business.

Catrambone Health Sciences Center

Assumption’s newest building, the Richard J. & Sophia Catrambone Health Sciences Center is home to the Froelich School of Nursing. The 41,000 square-foot building features a clinical learning suite equipped with 7 clinical skills beds and 4 high-fidelity simulation rooms. 

Throughout the spacious building are lounges, break-out study rooms, de-briefing rooms, and conference rooms.

Testa Science Center

Testa’s most prominent feature – the towering windows of the Atrium, connect Assumption’s past and present with stained glass windows originally part of the Assumption College and Preparatory School, damaged during a 1953 tornado.

The building features 10 teaching labs and 7 faculty and student research labs, a rooftop greenhouse, the Center for Neuroscience, and a sunlit Atrium, home to various annual events.

Kennedy Memorial Hall

Kennedy features 12 classrooms, two tiered lecture rooms, resource libraries, and psychology laboratories with observation rooms. On the bottom floor, the Department of Public Safety can be found. 

Fuller Hall

Connected directly to the Information Technology Center, Fuller Hall is home to various classrooms, computer labs, and administrative offices. 

Founders Hall

Founders Hall is primarily home to faculty offices. The building also features a graphic design lab and is home to the D’Amour College of Liberal Arts & Sciences.

Plourde Recreation Center

The Plourde Recreation Center provides our community with a number of exciting and challenging fitness, intramural, and athletic opportunities.

Facilities in the Plourde include: fully equipped cardio and weight rooms, varsity weight room, aerobics room, three full-size basketball courts, indoor track, locker rooms, sauna rooms, stretching/meditation rooms, dance rooms, and a pool. Students are encouraged to stay active by joining a club sport, participating in intramurals, or visiting the Plourde in their free time.

Hagan Campus Center

Hagan Campus Center is the heartbeat of student life. Hang out with friends in large common areas, grab a bite at Charlie’s Snack Bar or a coffee at Caribou Coffee Café, or shop for the latest Hound Nation styles at the Hound Store. 

Hagan also includes: a post office, student club and organization offices, the Office of Student Engagement & Leadership, an esports arena, dining areas, meeting spaces, and soon the location of an on-campus pub.

Brian Kelly ‘83 Stadium

Named after legendary college football head coach Brian Kelly, a 1983 graduate of Assumption and member of the football team, Brian Kelly ‘83 Stadium is home to a number of Greyhound athletic teams including football, field hockey, soccer (M+W), and lacrosse (M+W). 

Located adjacent to many residence halls and Hagan Campus Center, the stadium makes it easy for students and fans to attend Greyhound home games.

Taylor Dining Hall

From the grill to brick oven pizza, chef’s table to our dietary friendly simple servings station, Taylor Dining Hall has something for everyone. One of two main dining options on campus (Charlie’s Snack Bar), Taylor features all-you-care-to-eat dining stations for all meals of the day.

Laska Gymnasium

Laska Gymnasium is the home to the Assumption Greyhounds men’s and women’s basketball teams and women’s volleyball program.

Laska also houses the athletics department, team locker rooms, athletic training and equipment room, the Assumption Athletics Hall of Fame, and an extensive trophy case in the lobby to welcome you.

Emmanuel d’Alzon Library

The Emmanuel d’Alzon Library is at the center of academic life at Assumption.

The three floors of the building feature both quiet and conversational study spaces, group collaboration rooms, and computer labs. The library is also home to the Academic Support Center, where students go for tutoring appointments.

Chapel of the Holy Spirit

Perhaps Assumption’s most iconic building, the Chapel of the Holy Spirit is a vibrant spiritual community for students who are Catholic, follow other religious, or non-religious. 
Worshiping opportunities include: Mass, morning prayer, evening prayer, Reconciliation, Charismatic Praise, Candlelight Prayer, and Adoration.

Admissions House

Nestled atop a hill overlooking campus, the Admissions House is usually the first stop in your Assumption journey. Visitors to the University are welcomed to the House by student ambassadors and tour guides, undergraduate and graduate admission offices, and the Office of Financial Aid.

Information Technology Center

The Information Technology Center Building at Assumption is home to classrooms, computer labs with over 150 computers, and our Information Technology helpdesk.

The IT helpdesk provides technology support to computer users across the campus, as well as to our free Hound Print services for students.

La Maison Française

The original building of Assumption’s Salisbury Street campus, La Maison Française now primarily houses administrative offices, some classrooms, and the Office of the President. 
Additionally, two large gathering spaces, La Maison Salon and La Maison Hall greet you on each side of the main entrance.

Tinsley Campus Ministry Center

Attached to the Chapel of the Holy Spirit is the Tinsley Campus Ministry Center, home to offices, an interfaith prayer room, a conference room, and a library with theological and spiritual reading materials.

DiPasquale Media Center

The DiPasquale Media Center is home to Assumption’s television studio featuring a green screen recording studio and attached editing room.

The Center also houses the University’s audio-visual services where students can sign-out a variety of A/V equipment
