Family Weekend 2026
This year, Family Weekend will be held alongside Homecoming Weekend, on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4.
Throughout the weekend, there will be a variety of activities around campus for the families of Hound Nation. From fun activities for all ages to thrilling sports games where you can cheer on your Assumption Greyhounds, it will be an exciting weekend. Don’t forget the ever-popular Family BINGO presented by CAB with amazing prizes for everyone.

Morning
10:00 a.m. Family Weekend Check-In | Laska Lobby
Welcome packet and full weekend itinerary pickup.
10:00 a.m. Honors Induction Ceremony | La Maison Salon Auditorium
Class of 2030 induction, with families.
10:00 a.m. Tailgate Lot Opens | Plourde Lot
Only for people who got a tailgate pass ahead of time from athletics.
Closed containers only. No kegs.
10:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. Family Zone | Hagan Campus Center, main level
A quiet indoor room with the game on a screen, plus calm activities, coloring, and board games. There is a water station
here to refill bottles.
Not supervised — please stay with your children.
10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Attractions | Locations listed in your Family Weekend packet
Waffle sticks, popcorn, cotton candy, giant pong, Zorb balls, and more. Wristband required; Family Weekend participants
get a fast pass. While supplies last.
11:00 a.m. – early 3rd quarter Homecoming End Zone Tent | Brian Kelly ’83 Stadium
This event requires separate registration through University Advancement. Families are welcomed to register through Homecoming registration for the Endzone tent which includes food, soft drinks, beer, and wine. Sign up ahead of time on Homecoming registration.
Afternoon

Hound Heads-Up: Tickets are $10 at the gate if you have a Family Weekend wristband. Show your wristband to get this
price.
Midday – 4:00 p.m. Class of 2027 Senior Class Fundraiser | Gym Road, across from the tailgate lot

3:30 p.m. Men’s Soccer | Marois Field
Home match and Men’s Soccer Alumni Day.
3:30 – 5:00 p.m. “Living the Mission” Exhibit | Hagan Campus Center, second floor, outside Pierre’s Pub
The new Living the Mission exhibit honors individuals from Assumption’s past who contributed to our mission in diverse ways and who exemplify our values of faith, friendship, service, and the pursuit of the truth. Explore the exhibit for free with tours led by students.
3:30 – 5:00 p.m. Cheers at Pierre’s (Post-Game Reception) | Pierre’s Pub

4:00 p.m. Women’s Volleyball | Laska Gymnasium
Assumption vs. Saint Michael’s College — Volleyball Alumni Day.
EVENING
7:00 – 10:00 p.m. Family Weekend Bingo | Tsotsis Family Academic Center (TFAC) Ballroom
Bingo for all ages, with pub food and prizes. Your bingo card comes with your Family Weekend registration. Extra boards and prize puzzles
cost a small donation, which raises money for every class year.
