Our Outcomes Speak for Themselves

Assumption University students are prepared for more than just careers; they’re called to lead lives of meaning and impact. Whether advancing to graduate school or entering their chosen professions, our graduates bring to the world not only knowledge and skill but also compassion, leadership, and a dedication to serving others.

Location, Location, Location!

Assumption University sits on a 185-acre campus in Worcester, Massachusetts — New England’s second largest city and home to more than 30,000 college students. Our partnerships with the Worcester Red Sox, the Hanover Theatre, and the American Antiquarian Society are just some of the ways that students can take advantage of all that Worcester has to offer. Did we mention the thriving community of innovators, entrepreneurs, and startup businesses located in Worcester that are looking for interns, mentors, and new employees? It’s all here.

School Counselor master program

Learn more about our School Counseling Programs

Assumption’s school counseling program gives students the opportunity to earn a master’s degree in school counseling – or, for those who already have one, the opportunity to pursue a certificate of advanced graduate study (CAGS). The master of arts in school counseling at Assumption prepares students to become licensed as either school counselors or school adjustment counselors/school social workers, both at all grade levels. Obtaining a CAGS can enhance knowledge and skill sets, complement current knowledge, and allow professionals to be more effective in their current roles.
