Graduate Student Payment Information
Welcome to Assumption University Graduate School! Below, you’ll find all the essential information you need about tuition payments, payment plans, and how to manage your student account.
Intent to Enroll & Deposit
We’re excited to welcome you to our community of learning!
To confirm your enrollment:
- Visit your application status portal
- Complete the Intent to Enroll form
- Submit your enrollment deposit
Student Account Center (SAC)
Managing your student account is simple with the Student Account Center (SAC), available through the student portal.
What is SAC?
The Student Account Center is a secure online portal that provides:
- Account summary and activity
- Billing statements
- One-time payment options
- Enrollment in payment plans
Payments are posted in real time, 24/7.
Accessing the SAC
- Log in to the student portal
- Click Student Account Center on the left
Payment Methods
You can pay your tuition and fees using:
- Checking or savings account (no fee)
- Credit/debit card (a small convenience fee applies)
Billing
Electronic billing statements are issued each semester and are due prior to the start of the semester. Students are billed directly and are responsible for timely payment. Students will be notified via their Assumption email account when their electronic billing statement is available online.
Billing Due Dates
- Summer 2025: May 16, 2025
- Fall 2025: TBD.
- Spring 2026: TBD.
Graduate Payment Plan
Assumption University offers a convenient monthly payment plan through Nelnet, allowing graduate students to spread education expenses over manageable monthly installments throughout the semester.
Enrollment is simple and can be completed through the Student Account Center in the student portal.
Payment Plan Details:
- Upon enrollment, the first payment and a $40.00 enrollment fee are due.
- Future payments will be automatically processed by Nelnet and are due on the 15th of each month.

There is no payment plan option for summer and intersession semesters.
Required Health Insurance
Available on Tuesday, July 15, 2025
Massachusetts law requires all ¾ time graduate students to have minimum medical coverage, and colleges must enforce this regulation. As a result, all students are billed for student health insurance. However, students may waive this charge if they can provide proof of comparable coverage.
Students can enroll in or waive the health insurance electronically through the Student Account Center in the Assumption Student Portal (myportal.assumption.edu). The link to complete this process is located within the Student Account Center homepage under Other Services.
