Dean Heida currently serves as the Interim Vice President for Student Affairs. She has over four decades of experience in higher education, having served twenty of those years at Berry College as Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, and Chief of Staff, and still holds the title of Vice President Emerita. Most recently, she served as Senior Advisor for the Division of Student Affairs at Duke University, where she also served as Interim Associate Vice President and Dean of Students. Heida received a Master of Arts in Higher Education from The Ohio State University, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Mount Union, and completed the Institute for Educational Management at Harvard University.
