Student Groups and Activities

From yearly traditions to new events there is always something going on at Assumption.

Assumption University: A Vibrant - and Fun - Campus Community!

The Office of Student Activities works closely with students, faculty and campus groups like the Campus Activities Board to organize, publicize and implement a wide variety of co-curricular activities ranging from lectures to performances to opportunities to have fun with your family.

And clubs! We have more than 60 student-run clubs and organizations that are sure to round out your studies!

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student-run organization that plans social events for the student body at least four times a month. From the big Spring Concert and Spring Formal to carnivals, trivia, and big prize bingo - to name just a few - CAB’s goal is to make sure that students are having fun, all semester long! We're on Instagram. Your social life is waiting!

Student Government Association

The Assumption University Student Government Association (SGA) is the governing student body that represents all full-time undergraduate students. The SGA works closely with students and administration to:

  • Voice the opinions and concerns of the student body.
  • Support students, organizations, and the greater campus community.
  • Provide an opportunity for all students to actively contribute to the academic and social climate of the campus.

First-year students have an opportunity to run for a position in SGA during the fall semester. Elections are held annually for upper-class students in the spring semester.
The SGA encourages the elected student representative to demonstrate excellence, honor and Greyhound pride.

Assumption has something for you!
