Introducing Blue: Assumption’s Student Success AI Chatbot

Who/What is Blue?

“Blue” is Assumption’s very own AI Chatbot – delivering resources, answering questions, and promoting success 24/7.

How Does it Work?

Throughout the semester, Blue texts students to check in on how things are going and ensure they feel supported, informed, and able to succeed in all aspects of the Assumption experience. Students can also text Blue with questions or concerns 24/7 and get an immediate response. For items requiring additional support or expertise, the Office of Student Success will reach out to the student directly to provide personal assistance and support. 

What’s Next? How Do I Communicate with Blue?

On August 27, undergraduate students will receive an introductory text from Blue. Just respond to the text and, of course, save Blue’s number in your contacts. If you do not receive the message, accidentally delete it, or have any other questions, please contact Chad Laliberte, Senior Director for Student Success Pathways & International Student Advisor, at cj.laliberte@assumption.edu

Why “Blue”?

Blue is, of course, the official color of Assumption! We wanted to give the Chatbot a unique personality, but one that still resonated with and related to our close-knit Assumption community.
