Intramural Sports

Assumption’s robust intramural and club sports programs offer a broad array of options to have fun, make friends, and keep fit.

The Department of Campus Recreation hosts Intramural Sports for the campus community throughout the year. There are a variety of 25 team and individual events which allow students, faculty, staff & administrators to create co-ed, men's, and women's teams and play according to their time preferences. Intramural Sport programs offer everyone an opportunity to not only enjoy a sport or special event, but also provides an opportunity to meet new people in a fun and spirited atmosphere while increasing your physical fitness. There are no prerequisites for experience, so all skill levels are encouraged to participate and potentially win the infamous Intramural Championship T-shirt!

Greyhound Intramural Championship

The Greyhound Intramural Championship was developed to encourage teams and individuals to participate in a variety of Intramural activities throughout the academic year. Teams that maintain the same team name throughout the year will accumulate points based on participation, performance and sportsmanship in each competition. At the conclusion of the year, the male and female team with the most points will have their teams' name engraved on the Greyhound Intramural Championship Trophy and take home a personal gift.
