Rehabilitation Counseling
We have designed an accelerated Rehabilitation Counseling program to enable students complete both their BA and MA in only five years, saving you a year’s worth of time and tuition and getting you out into the workforce sooner! There is a great need for Rehabilitation Counselors and our graduates are aggressively recruited by rehabilitation and human services agencies, many being hired prior to graduation.

Speech-language Pathology
For students interested in pursuing graduate studies in the fields of speech-language pathology or audiology, Assumption offers a concentration in communication sciences and disorders. In accordance with American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) standards, the program builds on Assumption’s strong liberal arts foundation with courses specifically focused on human communication, social and behavioral sciences, mathematics, as well as biological and physical sciences.

Health Professions Advising
Assumption recognizes the importance of preparing students academically, personally and ethically for meaningful careers in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, and veterinary medicine, to name a few. The Health Professions Program is designed to help students begin a career or enter graduate school in one of the health professions by preparing them to earn good grades and strong scores on graduate school admissions tests and interviews.
