Welcome Home, Hounds!

University faculty and staff are preparing for Check-in Days at the end of August. Below, please find some details relative to this exciting day for students and their families, as well as the University.

Check-in & Move-in Times

In early August, residential students will receive an email with a specific move-in time, which will fall between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The University is again using a staggered approach to this onboarding effort to ensure ample room in residence halls for families to easily and safely move their student’s belongings into their rooms. Below, please find the days in which the University will welcome students back to campus:

Friday, August 23: First-Year Students & Transfers
Sunday, August 25: Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors

Helping Hounds Move-in

First-year students will have plenty of help as they move into their residence halls. Many members of the University community will be ready to help!

Commuter Students

All commuter students are welcome to check in on Friday, August 23 so they may attend orientation (as first-year students) and their first week of classes.
