Where Do Our Students Work and What Makes Them Stand Out?

Ninety-six percent of our Greyhounds are employed within a year of graduation, and the employers who welcome them into internships and full-time roles consistently point to the same qualities—professionalism, work ethic, a collaborative spirit, and a genuine commitment to serving others. This past summer, several of these organizations shared what sets Assumption students apart, offering a window into how the University’s mission translates into real-world impact.

“Assumption students stand out at Bayard for their professionalism and strong work ethic. In our internship programs across design, editorial, marketing, and business functions, they have proven to be helpful, courteous, timely, and highly knowledgeable. They come prepared, communicate effectively, and contribute meaningfully to a variety of projects, making them valuable members of our team.”

“Assumption students consistently stand out for their strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to contribute. They embrace our company culture, build meaningful relationships with colleagues, and add value through their commitment to teamwork and professional growth.”

“Assumption instills a commitment to serving others that extends far beyond the classroom. For more than 50 years, countless Assumption alumni have walked through the doors of NECC with a strong sense of mission, purpose, and dedication developed during their four years at the University. Those values translate seamlessly into the meaningful work we do every day in support of children with profound autism and their families.”

“The Assumption student who interned with our Advancement Department was a great addition to the team and jumped right in from day one! She had all of the skills we were looking for, and a clear desire to learn. She really demonstrated a passion for our mission and an interest in helping others.”

“As a mutual bank with deep roots in the Blackstone Valley and Worcester County for more than 150 years, it’s important to us to partner with local intuitions and people that share our unwavering commitment to community impact. It’s been our experience over the past several years that Assumption University students align with that commitment. We have been fortunate to have students with us most summers either as an Intern at our Main Office in Whitinsville, MA, or with one of our Retail Branches as a Student Teller. Additionally, we have partnered during the school year on a research project for our Sterling Associates subsidiary team and welcomed a few alums to full-time position post-graduation. We’re excited to continue our partnership with Assumption this year.”
