We hope you are well. It is hard to believe that we will be celebrating 50 years since we graduated from Assumption As members of the Class Reunion Committee, we are working with a great team to make it the best possible celebration. We can’t wait to head back to Salisbury Street for Reunion Weekend, June 5-7, 2026. We hope you will consider making the trip back to campus as well! More information on the specifics of the weekend will be shared in the coming months.

We want to invite you not only to save the date, but to join us in making our Class Reunion a resounding success. We could use your help in planning a memorable weekend, contacting classmates, and coordinating the Reunion Class Gift. We appreciate you taking on whatever role you are comfortable doing! To join the committee, please reach out to any one of us by our phone number or email address listed below, and we’ll make sure to include you in plans moving forward.

Not only is the Committee invested in leaving our mark with a weekend to remember, but we also want to make a meaningful impact on current and future Greyhounds by encouraging all classmates to consider giving back to our alma mater in honor of this milestone. Please watch your mail (via USPS) for more on our class gift around November 1.

We will be in touch as Reunion Weekend approaches with more information and look forward to connecting further before and/or at Reunion!

Dear Class of 1976,

Can you believe it? Our 50th reunion is coming up this June! We hope you have saved the dates and are planning to return to 500 Salisbury Street to celebrate our Golden Greyhound Reunion.

We are reaching out to share some important information and a few requests for your help.

Reunion Registration:

Registration for reunion weekend will open on March 1. Please be on the lookout for a postcard and an email with full details on how to register. Make sure to sign up early as we want to see you all there.

Reunion Gift & Giving Day:

We encourage you to make your reunion gift to Assumption. Currently we have 26 donors and have raised $36,950 dollars. All gifts made from June 1, 2025 – May 31, 2026, count toward reunion giving totals. If you haven’t yet made your gift, there is still time to make an impact.

Assumption’s Day of Giving is April 16, and any gift made that day by a member of the Class of 1976 will count toward our reunion class gift.

If you have already made your gift this year, we hope you might consider making an additional small gift of $5–$10 on our Day of Giving to help us reach our participation goals. Gifts of any size will help unlock Day of Giving donor challenges and make our class’s reunion gift totals even stronger!

Photos Needed for Reunion Slideshow:

We are working with the Alumni Engagement Office to create a slideshow for reunion weekend, and we need your help! Please send any and all photos you have of members of our class—candids, events, or campus memories—to our Alumni Engagement liaison:

Sara Swillo Muckian

ss.muckian@assumption.edu

In Memoriam Slideshow:

On a more somber note, we are also putting together a slideshow honoring classmates who have passed away, using senior portraits and candid photos. We are currently missing photos for four classmates: Michael Tramontozzi, Robert Lezinski, Steven Kane and Elaine (McDonough) Labbe.

If you have any images of these classmates, please send them to:

Barbara Edmond

btedmond27@gmail.com

Thank you for helping make this reunion weekend meaningful and memorable. We can’t wait to celebrate together in June.

Warm regards,

Class of 1976 Reunion Committee
