1972
Bob Hunter and his wife, Kate, made an impromptu visit to Assumption’s Rome campus recently while vacationing. The couple had the pleasure of meeting with University faculty and staff in Rome at the time. 1965
Former Trustee Bob Gray AP’61, ’65 and his wife, Maureen G’67, visited the Assumptionists in Rome recently, where they enjoyed time with University Trustee Fr. Alex Castro, A.A.. Fr. Castro is treasurer for the Augustinians of the Assumptionist globally.

1986
At 60 years old, teacher and chemist Gary Mallalieu says he is “still jumping on desks” to engage students with the Periodic Table. “Some of them don’t know the difference between hydrogen and helium,” he admits, “but at least they smile.” He plans to retire soon, wanting to spend more time with family. Gary has taught at Pierrefonds Community High School in Montreal for the past 15 years. Earlier in his career, he worked as a chemist in the paint industry for Monsanto and BYK-Chemie in the USA, receiving a patent in paint technology. Prior to joining Pierrefonds, he had the experience of a lifetime volunteering with the Congregation of Christian Brothers in Peru.
1993
Melissa Litchfield is running for seat in New Hampshire House District 32. The district represents constituents in Brentwood, Rockingham, Danville, and Fremont. Melissa, who previously served as a state rep for Brentwood from 2000-22, is a former underwriting consultant and senior underwriter for group and individual disability and life insurance. She has been a member of the Swasey Central School Board and the Exeter Regional Cooperative School District School Board. Read More.
