Research Projects

My primary line of research includes skill acquisition and verbal behavior for children with and without intellectual or developmental disabilities, especially in early intervention populations. My research investigates developmental sequences in verbal behavior to guide instructional programming. Additionally, my research includes identifying prerequisite skills to promote emergent responding. This research includes identifying skills that may be taught so novel language emerges without direct instruction. An additional line of research includes investigating best practices in teaching higher education.
