Assistant Professor of Practice
Professor Lindsay Guertin has been a registered nurse for 18 years. She has experience in multiple settings include medical-surgical, OR, rehabilitation, long-term care, wound care and management. She has been in nursing education since 2018. Professor Guertin has a passion for Alzheimer’s care and educating students on different techniques to care for this population. Professor Guertin is currently the director of the Clinical Learning Suite (CLS) within the Froelich School of Nursing and obtained her Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator last year. Professor Guertin strives to offer students a unique simulation experience where they gain competency as bedside nurses. Professor Guertin also has certifications in CNE (certified nurse educator) and CNEcl (certified clinical nurse educator) and is a BLS instructor through the American Heart Association.
