Dr. Shaver is an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) track at Assumption University’s Froelich School of Nursing. With a clinical background in maternal/child health and vascular access, Dr. Shaver has taught across the curriculum in all specialties, serves as the primary advisor for ABSN students, and guides learners in diverse community and clinical settings. Her research and scholarship focus on nursing student success, particularly voluntary attrition in baccalaureate programs, academic advising strategies, and faculty roles in retention and persistence. Dr. Shaver is actively engaged in disseminating her work regionally and nationally through publications and presentations. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and the New England League for Nursing Education (NELNE), reflecting her commitment to advancing nursing education and professional development.
