Hound of the Week: Emily Allen ’21

Congratulations to our next Hound of the Week, Emily Allen ’21! A junior majoring in human services and minoring in psychology from Hopewell Junction, New York, Emily chose Assumption because of its small, inclusive, and welcoming community in addition to its strong academic reputation and athletic programs. Emily is a member of the women’s soccer team, was an orientation leader this past summer, and will be participating in SEND this winter traveling to Baltimore. Emily is also a member of the Latin Dance club, a Student Executive for the 2020 COMPASS orientation program, and is always looking for more opportunities on campus to become more involved. “It’s important for me to be involved on and off-campus because it has allowed me to grow as an individual and step out of my comfort zone.”
