Travel Tuesday: Jordan Mello ’20

Biology major and psychology minor, Jordan Mello ’20 is currently spending his fall semester at Assumption’s Rome campus. Jordan chose to study abroad to learn more about the rich history and culture surrounding the campus, and was able to reach his personal goal of visiting another continent. Jordan overcame his fear of being away from family and friends for an extended duration and has further developed his Italian to help overcome the language barrier. Jordan misses home, but is grateful for the time he’s been able to spend in Rome. “You only have four years of college and you shouldn’t hold back on doing anything you’re interested in. It is a great experience and you will do and see more than you can ever imagine.”
