Hound of the Week: Brianna Rondeau ’20

Jul 03, 2019

Congratulations to our next Hound of the Week, Brianna Rondeau ’20! A double major in psychology and sociology from Milford, MA, Brianna is actively involved in many groups on and off campus including serving as VP of the Psi Chi International Honor Society, being a psychology summer research fellow, serving as a relief counselor at OpenSky Community Services, and also makes sure to attend yoga and spin classes every week in the Plourde Recreation Center! “Being involved on and off campus means stepping out of my comfort zone and meeting new people. Assumption is full of friendly faces and truly kind-hearted people. The community at Assumption has embraced who I am and what I want to put into the world as I work towards my degree. Being involved and making lifelong connections on campus opens up so many opportunities off of campus and has given me so much positivity to spread into the real world.”

Brianna is passionate about helping others and spreading awareness about social issues through education and communication. “If people are educated about the world, they are more likely to help make a change or make a difference. On the smaller scale, it’s the little things I am passionate about; talking to a resident while I am on duty, holding the door for a classmate, attending a meeting for Greenhounds, chatting with a Professor after class. All of these small opportunities build me up and have allowed me to spread awareness and positivity to others.” Brianna credits Assumption for allowing her to be her true self. “I believe Assumption and the people here have made me search for myself and begin to understand what I am meant to do.”
