Assumption University Named to Money’s 2025 Best Colleges in America List

Money has once again named Assumption University to its annual list of Best Colleges in America. Assumption is one of just 23 institutions out of more than a hundred in Massachusetts to receive four or more stars in the ratings.
Money is a leading resource for up-to-date news, resources, and tools for financial education and awareness. Each year, the outlet analyzes and compares over 700 four-year colleges on their quality of education, affordability, and outcomes for graduates to help students and families make informed financial decisions about higher education.
Assumption’s strong performance in these ratings follows earlier accolades this year, including being identified as within the top 4% for return on investment (ROI) among post-secondary institutions nationwide. That report, published by the Georgetown Center on Education and the Workforce, measured the incomes of graduates from 10 to 40 years after receiving their degree. It found that Assumption presented a top 20 ROI in the state and top 3 in Worcester County.
“While rankings can never be seen as the final measure of the value of a college education, we believe these indicators represent something that Assumption alumni know well – the profound value of the education they received here,” said Bill Boffi, vice president for enrollment management. “The monetary return on investment for our graduates is among the best in the nation. Greater still, we believe that the personal return on investment – the kind that shapes who our graduates become – is immeasurable.”
