A few weeks after the fall semester begins, Assumption welcomes families back to campus for the annual celebration of Family Weekend.

Mark your calendar for the 2019 Assumption College Family Weekend, scheduled for October 4 to 6, 2019! Traditionally held towards the end of September, each year, Family Weekend full of exciting events and entertainment for the whole family such as concerts, football and soccer games and tennis matches and much more. Much of the weekend is planned by students, so each Family Weekend is highly anticipated on campus.

Highlights of Past Family Weekends

  • Friday Night Bingo: Come join us for a family night out with a favorite Assumption College tradition, bingo! Win great prizes the whole family will enjoy.
  • Fall Festival: Enjoy tasty seasonal snacks like caramel apples from many different vendors, paint your own pumpkin masterpiece, bounce and play on some fun inflatables, and come decorate splatter hats! Lastly, you can remember your weekend with a photo!
  • AC Idol: Assumption College’s very own version of “American Idol”! Support your favorite Assumption performers in a friendly singing competition that features talented Assumption students in the Jeanne Y. Curtis Performance Hall in Tsotsis Family Academic Center.
  • Ryan Tremblay: Come for an entertaining night of musical entertainment from Ryan Tremblay! He is an international Christian recording artist that works collaboratively with his producer and co-writer, Rich Spillberg (Josh Groban, Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band).

Ryan Trembley In Concert

On Friday, Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Jeanne Y. Curtis Performance Hall Ryan Tremblay will share his personal Catholic experience with powerful drumming, heart-felt songs and true and sometimes hilarious stories about his love of the people and sacraments of the Catholic Church. He'll be accompanied by his lovely wife Elizabeth as they sing and share the story of what it's like to meet Pope Francis and raise triplets! Delivered with a lot of love and humor, this is a show that leaves you smiling inside and out. Trembley has been featured on EWTN, CatholicTV, Relevant Radio and recently performed at World Youth Day 2016 in Poland.
