Hazing and Anti-Hazing Education

At Assumption University, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all members of our community. Hazing, in any form, is strictly prohibited and goes against our core values of respect and dignity. In line with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 269, Sections 17–19, and the federal Stop Campus Hazing Act, we take a firm stance against hazing activities. This page provides essential information to help students, faculty, and staff understand what constitutes hazing, recognize warning signs, and learn how to report concerns. Together, we can foster a campus culture where everyone feels safe, supported, and valued.
