All Aboard Predeparture Check

Participants complete registration, submit required documents, and review the Orientation schedule; by the end, families will understand key expectations and next steps while beginning to build a sense of belonging.

Breakfast

Participants enjoy a light breakfast and informal networking; this time encourages connection among families and campus community members.

Voyage to Victory: Integrity & Compliance

📍 Pierre’s Pub

Participants will understand NCAA regulations, eligibility requirements, and institutional expectations; presenters emphasize integrity, compliance responsibilities, and available support resources.

10:00–11:15 AM

All Aboard Opening Ceremony

📍 Curtis Performance Hall (TFAC)

Participants are formally welcomed to the University and introduced to its mission, values, and culture; presenters focus on belonging, expectations, and excitement for the college journey.

11:20 AM–12:05 PM

Charting the Course: Academics & Student Success

📍 Curtis Performance Hall

Participants will identify academic expectations, advising structures, and support services; presenters highlight strategies for success and when to seek help.

12:15–1:00 PM

Midday Deck Dining

📍 Alumni Quad / Taylor Dining Hall

Participants take part in a community lunch experience designed to encourage informal interaction and connection.

1:00–2:00 PM

Our Shared Voyage: Family Conversation Starters

Participants engage in guided conversations to explore expectations, communication strategies, and the transition to independence; presenters model healthy dialogue practices.

2:15–3:00 PM

Sailing Together: Parents as Partners

Participants will understand the role families play in student success; presenters outline campus engagement opportunities and strategies for ongoing support.

3:00–3:30 PM

Sundaes at Sea with the Crew

📍 TFAC Piazza & Fountain

Participants build informal connections with faculty and staff in a relaxed setting; the goal is increased comfort and approachability.

3:40–4:25 PM

Sailing Smart: Student Financial Services

📍 Curtis Performance Hall

Participants gain an understanding of billing, financial aid, payment timelines, and account management; presenters clarify processes and available support resources.

3:45–4:30 PM

Drop-In Campus Partner Sessions

Participants engage in optional one-on-one conversations with campus partners to ask questions and receive individualized guidance.

Harbor Meet-Up: Family Connections & Dinner

Participants engage in community-building activities and dinner, fostering peer networking and shared experiences.

Exploring the Harbor: Discover Worcester

Participants are introduced to local resources, transportation, and safety practices; presenters highlight opportunities for engagement beyond campus.
