Prior to joining Assumption University as an Adjunct Professor for Mathematics, Jean-Marie Johnson was Director of Mathematics at Shrewsbury High School in Shrewsbury Massachusetts (2001-2024). The focus of her career in Mathematics Education has been to support students as creative problem-solvers who view Mathematics as a tool for modeling and making sense of the world. In her previous role, she also taught graduate level courses to educators with a focus on Mathematics content, curriculum development, technology, instruction & pedagogy.
