Brett Murphy Hunt, EdD

Lecturer, MBA Program


Brett teaches English at Northeastern University as well as MBA and MOL courses in Assumption University’s Grenon School of Business. She owns Brett E. Murphy Tutoring & Consulting, Inc., in the Boston area. She is a recent graduate of the Doctor of Education program at Northeastern University.

She has written for numerous publications, including The Huffington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Newsweek, The Teaching Professor, and Shakespeare in Southern Africa. A well-known college essay advisor, she has been featured in MONEY Magazine, US News & World Report, FOX Business, Business Insider, and The Boston Voyager. 

Above all, her students are her life, and she enjoys teaching—really teaching—her students of all ages how to improve their writing and leadership skills.
