Travel Tuesday: Lily O’Connor ’21

Traveling abroad has always been a priority for Lily O’Connor ‘21. A double major in Spanish and English, Lily has the desire to improve upon her Spanish speaking abilities, therefore, she decided to immerse herself in the culture of Granada, Spain this summer. Lily has made herself a home away from home in Granada and as a result, feeling like a local has been Lily’s favorite part of her experience. “Personally, living abroad has given me the chance to meet so many new people, and live in a completely different way than I am used to. I think it really has helped me branch out and appreciate the world outside of the USA.”
