Sep 16, 2020

Assumption University has been named to Money magazine’s Best Colleges 2020 list, ranking among the top half of colleges and universities in the country for successfully delivering a quality and affordable education to its students. According to Money, the organization “weighed more than 20,000 data points, including tuition fees, family borrowing, and career earnings” to determine the best colleges in America, which are ranked by value.

Assumption, which was recently recognized by The Princeton Review and U.S. News & World Report as a top institution of higher learning in the country, awards more than $34 million in university scholarships, merit scholarships, and grants each year, benefiting more than 90 percent of its students.

This summer, Assumption announced the establishment of a $3 million Coronavirus Financial Aid Relief Fund to provide additional financial assistance to students whose families were facing financial hardships as a result of the global pandemic, including job loss, furloughs, reduction in hours, or other similar factors. Both returning and incoming students were invited to apply for room grants up to $8,500 and tuition grants up to $10,000 for the 2020-21 Academic Year.
