Hound of the Week: Oliver Bugbee ’21

Congratulations to our next Hound o fthe Week, Oliver Bugbee ‘21 from South Burlington Vermont. Due to Assumption’s “close, connected community of people,” Oliver decided to make Assumption his home.  Involved in SGA as a Class Senator, ALANA, as a Resident Assistant in Wachusett Hall and a member of Greytones, Oliver states, “being involved at Assumption has helped me become a more grounded person, because I now understand myself and my role in how I can help my peers.” Oliver is passionate about tackling social issues such as racism, poverty, and the housing crisis. Being a part of ALANA has allowed him to have deeper conversations and expand his knowledge on these issues. “I will forever be grateful for Assumption allowing me to take on new challenges, and for transforming my confidence.”
