The Women’s Studies Program is hosting Women’s Lives on the Mississippi: Working and traveling on Western River Steamboats in the Nineteenth Century. This presentation will use an intersectional perspective to explore women’s lives, work, and travel on steamboats in the nineteenth century.

Refreshments will be served, and this event is free and open to the public.
