Foundations Lecture Series

What happens when a chemist, a political scientist, and an art historian look closely at one of the most famous paintings representing the scientific method?

Join us for a lively discussion featuring Toby Norris, Professor of Art History, Ben Knurr, Associate Professor of Chemistry, and Jeremy Geddert, Associate Professor of Political Science, as they describe how this painting can be understood from the disciplines of art history, science, and politics, the lecture will illuminate to the public the interconnectedness of knowledge and the importance and value of a Catholic liberal arts education.

This event is open to the public.
