1963
Marc LaPointe, Libby Ginnetti, Jim Prevet, and John Massaro recently gathered to catch up and reminisce about their days at Assumption.
1971
Bill Humbert spoke to the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Unit in Homer, Alaska, on August 11 about “The Power of Proper Goal Setting.” He has shared this presentation with audiences across three continents—Africa, Europe, and North America.
1975
Classmates David Legg, Bill Phillips, Bob Lewis, Caz Malec, Jim Tower, Jon Wilson, and Jack Southam recently reunited for a round of golf.
1991
Gina (Dialessi) Biskupic, author and speech pathologist, released her debut novel No Fault of His Own (June 2025), a family drama illuminating frontotemporal degeneration (FTD)—an early-onset form of dementia. The book quickly reached #2 on Amazon’s Medical Fiction New Releases and earned five-star reviews. Gina has been raising FTD awareness through author talks and AFTD fundraising events across New England.
2018/19
Kolby (Burger) Farrell ’19 married Brian Farrell ’18 in August. The couple met at Assumption, where Brian played hockey and Kolby played field hockey, and have been together since her freshman year.
ASPIRE Event
Alumni from a variety of class years joined students for the ASPIRE small group mentoring kickoff, featuring conversations about vocation and mentorship, a campus tour, and lunch together. The seven groups will continue meeting monthly throughout the year.
Hamden, CT Event
Assumption Alumni Engagement hit the road this September for an Alumni Reception at Haven Beer Co. in Hamden, Connecticut, on September 18. It was a wonderful evening reconnecting with Greyhounds from across the region!
Providence, RI Event
Assumption Alumni Engagement hosted an Alumni Reception in Providence, Rhode Island, at Union Station Brewery on September 27. It was great to see so many Greyhounds come together and hear from President Greg Weiner, Ph.D. View photos from the event here
