  • Early Decision (binding) – November 15
  • Early Action I – November 15
  • Early Action II – December 15
  • Regular Decision – Priority Deadline: March 15 (after March 15, applications for admission are accepted on a rolling basis)

Spring

  • U.S. Applicants – December 15

Other Important Dates:

  • The 2024/2025 FAFSA should be available sometime in December (Assumption’s Federal School Code is 002118)
  • Priority FAFSA filing deadline - March 1 (To expedite delivery of your financial aid offer letter, please submit your FAFSA as soon as it opens in December 2023)
  • Deposit deadline for Early Decision students – January 15
  • Deposit deadline for accepted students – May 1

Admission Decision Notification:

  • Early Decision (binding) – 2 weeks from submission
  • Early Action I – 2 weeks from submission
  • Early Action II – 2 weeks from submission
  • Regular Decision – 2 weeks from submission

Financial Aid Offer Letter Notification:

Assumption will begin releasing financial aid offers on a rolling basis to prospective students beginning in mid-late February, 2024.

Computer Science Articulation Agreement with Quinsigamond Community College

Assumption University and Quinsigamond Community College have a transfer articulation agreement for the Computer Science program. Students in QCC’s Computer Science Associate in Science Degree program will be able to seamlessly transfer into Assumption’s bachelor’s degree in computer science. View course equivalencies.

Cybersecurity Articulation Agreement with Quinsigamond Community College

Assumption University and Quinsigamond Community College have a transfer articulation agreement for the Cybersecurity program. Students in QCC’s Computer Systems Engineering Technology - Cybersecurity Option Associate Degree program will be able to seamlessly transfer into Assumption’s bachelor’s degree in cybersecurityView course equivalencies.

Environmental Science Articulation Agreement with Quinsigamond Community College

Assumption University and Quinsigamond Community College have a transfer articulation agreement for the Environmental Science program. Students in QCC’s Liberal Arts-Environmental Science Associate in Arts Degree program will be able to seamlessly transfer into Assumption’s bachelor’s degree in environmental science. View course equivalencies.

    • Early Decision is a binding decision, meaning that you are only allowed to apply to Assumption Early Decision, and if accepted you must withdraw all other applications
  • Early Action I – November 15
  • Early Action II – December 15
  • Regular Decision – Priority deadline: March 15; after March 15, all applications for admissions are reviewed on a rolling basis

What You'll Need

All international applicants to Assumption need to provide the following:

  • A completed Common Application
  • English Proficiency Test: All students, regardless of citizenship, must demonstrate English language proficiency when applying to Assumption. If English is not your first language, you will need to submit official results from one of the following:
    • Recommend minimum scores:
      • TOEFL (code: 3009) – 80 (iBT), 550 (pBT)
      • IELTS – 6.5
      • Duolingo – 105
      • Pearson – 53
      • iTEP – 3.7
    • For prospective students applying for the 2021-22 academic year, Assumption will also consider results from the TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition and the IELTS Indicator.  

      Additionally, Assumption will consider interviews submitted through Initialview and Vericant as a supplemental form of English proficiency.

      English Proficiency Waiver Request

      Some students may qualify for an English Proficiency Waiver. If you believe you qualify for an English proficiency waiver, please submit the English Proficiency Waiver Request Form. Proficiency waiver requests must be received by the application deadline and must accompany a complete application. Assumption’s Admissions Committee may request additional documentation.

  • The Declaration of Finances & International Financial Aid Form

    • All international applicants must complete the Declaration of Finances at time of application as a required material to be considered for admission at Assumption University. You will be prompted to answer several questions regarding your finances and asked to submit supporting financial documents from your educational sponsor.

    • If you cannot obtain all necessary documents to complete this form by the deadline, please contact your admissions counselor to discuss further options.

    • The International Financial Aid Form portion of the form is optional and should only be completed by international students seeking additional support financially from Assumption. If you intend to apply for international financial aid, you must complete this form at the time of application submission. Please understand that this does not guarantee you will receive additional aid but is an additional option for our international applicants.

      • For students not intending to apply for need-based financial aid, you will only need to submit the Declaration of Finances form.
