Buildings and Grounds

Buildings and Grounds at Assumption University is dedicated to providing a well-maintained, safe, and functional campus environment for all students, faculty, and staff. Our team works diligently to oversee the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and essential campus infrastructure, ensuring that all facilities operate efficiently and meet the needs of the university community. Whether it’s routine maintenance, repairs, or other service requests, we are here to support a comfortable and productive living and learning environment.

For service requests, please call 508-767-7391 or email Maint@assumption.edu. QR codes are also available in dormitory lobbies for convenient self-service request submissions. Our office is open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM.

Click the link below to submit a non-urgent Work Order to Buildings and Grounds. Examples of important but non-urgent issues:

  • Broken blinds/ cosmetic repairs / burned-out lights
  • Building temperature concerns.

Response time: up to 5 days)

For Urgent Maintenance issues, please contact the Campus Police non-emergency line at 508-767-7225 to report your concern. Examples of urgent issues (immediate threat to safety or health):

  • Flood or significant leak / overflowing toilet
  • Loss of power, hot water, or heat (temperature below 65 F)
  • Smell of gas
  • Security or access issues (broken window/doors)
