Assumption Named a Nationwide Best College

College Factual has included Assumption in its recently released Best Colleges Nationwide for 2020 list. Assumption ranks among the top-fifth institutions in the country and is among the top half in Massachusetts. Assumption was also recognized as a Best Nationwide College for Your Money, ranking in the top sixth of all institutions on the list. 

According the organization’s website, the best colleges and universities nationwide ranking compares four-year undergraduate programs and “the quality of education you can expect to receive at a given college, compared to all others on the list, regardless of whether the institution is designated a research university or a liberal arts college. It’s truly a nationwide list, designed to show how any one school stacks up against another.”

College Factual shares that it ranks colleges and universities on student body caliber; educational resources, including student-faculty ratio; degree completion, with emphasis on freshmen retention rate and six-year graduation rate; and post-graduate earnings, such as starting salary and loan default rate.
