HumanArts: Bill Roorbach, Author

Oct. 30, 2024
7:30 PM - 8:30 PM
La Maison Salon

“Beep: a Novel.” In which a very humble squirrel monkey saves the world.

Author, Bill Roorbach will be discussing and reading from his latest novel, Beep, about a juvenile Costa Rican squirrel monkey who sets off on a quest that takes him from the jungles of Central America to New York City. Told from the monkey’s point of view, the story is imaginative, moving, and amusing – an inventive and entertaining approach to the theme of all the ways humans disrupt the natural world, with plenty of allusions to climate change.

This lecture is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Assumption University HumanArts series.
