Professor Wilhelm has extensive experience providing behavioral services to children with autism spectrum disorder in home-based, residential, and early intervention settings. Before coming to Assumption, she taught graduate-level courses in applied behavior analysis in research methods at several other universities. Her research interests include symbolic play, restricted and repetitive behavior in autism, and methods to increase vocational independence. Professor Wilhelm is a Program Specialist at the New England Center for Children and is a doctoral candidate in applied behavior analysis at Western New England University.
