Professor Walsh is an Education Specialist in early literacy curriculum and instruction. She earned both her Ed.S. and Masters degrees from Worcester State University. She attended Stonehill College for her undergraduate work. Her academic interests include the Science of Reading, children’s literature, and mentoring teacher candidates. Prior to serving in the role of Professor of Practice, Professor Walsh worked in the Education Field Placement office at Assumption. Early in her career, she was an elementary education and reading teacher for the Wachusett Regional School District and the Webster Public Schools.
