The Assumption University Band Christmas Concert

The Assumption University Band, conducted by Bruce Hopkins, will be playing their annual Christmas concert on Thursday, November 30th, 2023, at 8:00pm in the Curtis Performance Hall, Assumption University, 500 Salisbury Street, Worcester, Ma. The concert will feature works by Huffine, Whitacre, Mussorgsky, Nishimura and Anderson. Featured will be flute soloist Madison Piehler (’24) in the Fantasia on Greensleeves by Vaughn Williams and Lorilei Jones (’25) as both alto saxophone and vocal soloist in an arrangement of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. The concert is free and open to the public.
