Speaker: Dr. Trent Masiki, Suffolk University, Author, The Afro-Latino Memoir Race, Ethnicity & Literary Interculturalism

This talk will explore Afro-Latino participation in the African American literary and cultural tradition by focusing on the personal and professional relationships that Afro-Latino and African American writers developed with each other from the 1890s to the Black Arts Movement of the 1970s. Free and open to the public.
