Dear Assumption Community,
I am delighted to announce that E. Jane Clapp, CPA, will be joining us as Assumption University’s Chief Financial Officer, effective January 2. Jane brings to Assumption a wealth of expertise in strategic financial leadership and a commitment to supporting institutional growth, which aligns directly with our mission and the goals outlined in our Thrive strategic plan.
In her most recent role as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Jane led essential initiatives in capital planning, debt management, and endowment growth, managing significant university resources and driving initiatives that enhanced services for students. Known for her collaborative approach and forward-thinking leadership, Jane has overseen multiple operational areas and worked closely with WPI’s Board of Trustees to foster sustainable growth. Her experience, insights, and commitment to financial strategy that makes an Assumption education possible will be invaluable as we chart the future of the University together.
Jane holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from Boise State University.
