COMPASS Connections: ALANA Pre-Orientation Program

The COMPASS Connections: ALANA (African, Latino/Hispanic, Asian and Native-American) Pre-Orientation Program is a wonderful overnight experience designed to help acclimate first-year ALANA students to college life prior to New Student Orientation in August and the start of classes. This year, the program will take place, in person and on campus, from August 19-21, 2022.
This Pre-Orientation Program is open to all first-year students who identify as African/Black or AfrAm or Caribbean, Latino/Hispanic, Asian (Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Chinese, Japanese), Native/Indigenous/American Indian, or domestic first-year students who identify with two or more ethnicities, or multiracial/bi-racial and Arab/Middle Eastern. Up to 25 students will be selected to participate.
