Welcoming Hounds Back to Campus

One Saturday a year, the College extends a special invitation to alumni and friends of Assumption to return to campus for a day of reconnecting with old friends. The 2020 dates will be announced soon!

Featured Events from 2019:

  • Alumni Tailgate starting at 11:30 a.m. under the tent on the end zone. Tailgating Pass includes game ticket, food, beverage and souvenir. The Hounds will kick-off verse Stonehill at 1:00pm.
  • On Sunday, October 27, celebrate and commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Assumption’s First Coed Class. A luncheon & panel discussion, “Sharing Memories of the Fall of ‘69” will be held in the Tsotsis Family Academic Center Ballroom at 11:30 a.m. following the 10:00 a.m. mass in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit. 

    Panelists from the Class of 1973: A panel of members of the Class of ’73: Bob & Mary (Connors) Bourque; Maureen Ryan Doyle; and John Laracy Moderator:Charlene Longhi Martin ’78.

    In honor of the first coeducational class to enter Assumption College, the female members of the Board of Trustees have covered the cost of attendance for the Class of ‘73. Special thank you to Laure Aubuchon, Suzanne Besnia, Esq. ’79, Carolyn Clancy ’82 , Alison Kenary, Christine Cannon Marcks ’77, Lilliam Alonso Miller ’89, and Candace McGovern Race ’78
