  • Our ABA program is a multidisciplinary program that sets you up to become a well-rounded behavior analyst—giving you the opportunity to advance your career in a school setting. As a behavior analyst, you can collaborate with teachers and administrators to create personalized behavior support plans at both the individual and school-wide level. Through our hands-on, practicum experience, you can obtain fieldwork hours alongside your coursework.

    • Program length: Two years or 46 credits at your own pace
    • Course format: On-campus
    • Accreditation: Meets the education and fieldwork requirements for graduates to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst exam and apply for licensure as an applied behavior analyst in Massachusetts; the program is recognized as Tier 2A by the Association for Behavior Analysis International.
  • Our School Counseling program takes a multi-pronged approach with social justice and anti-bias education to meet the current needs of becoming a well-rounded school or adjustment counselor. Through hands-on pre-practicum and practicum experience, you can directly apply your skills to numerous school settings, including placements in urban and suburban settings unique to Massachusetts. Choose between the School Counselor and School School Social Work/School Adjustment Counselor track.

    • Program length: Two years or 60 credits at your own pace for M.A. program, 21-27 credits for C.A.G.S.
    • Course format: Online or blended (online/on-campus)
    • Accreditation: Upon successful completion of the Master’s Degree in School Counseling or School Adjustment Counseling, including the required Massachusetts-based practicum and licensing exams (like MTEL and Praxis), you will meet eligibility requirements for licensure in Massachusetts; we are one of only four schools in Massachusetts to be “Approved with Distinction” by DESE.
  • Our Special Education programs aim to support both beginning special educators and experienced teachers in extending and refining their knowledge and skills when working with children. Qualified students can gain hands-on experience through field-based pre-practicum and practicum. In addition to our general special education program, we offer C.A.G.S. programs focusing on positive behavior supports, autism spectrum disorders, and transition specialist endorsement.

    • Program length: One-and-a-half to two years or 60 credits at your own pace for M.A. program, 18 credits for C.A.G.S.
    • Course format: Blended (online/on-campus)
    • Accreditation: One of only four schools in Massachusetts to be “Approved with Distinction” by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
