Guided by the Catholic principles of the Assumptionist tradition, the College’s First-Year Orientation challenges and supports entering students in their transition from high school to college. Through interactive, collaborative experiences, students and parents reflect on what it means to be an emerging adult in a college community. Students will begin the creative process of becoming people of critical intelligence, thoughtful citizenship, and compassionate service.
Student Affairs staff support the College’s mission throughout the residential and cocurricular aspects of student life on campus. We plan and implement programs around a core set of principles to help Assumption students achieve their full personal and academic potential.
