Financial Aid: If you have applied for financial aid and received a financial aid award letter, the amount of financial aid should be reported as pending/anticipated financial aid on your electronic bill and within student account center under transaction details.
If you are obtaining a loan to pay your bill, you will need to be approved for the loan; completed the necessary promissory note; and if required by the lender, have loan certification completed by the Financial Aid office. Once these steps are completed, the loan will be reported as pending/anticipated financial aid on the bill and within student account center under transaction details. 529 Plans: If you are using funds from a 529 account as payment toward your bill, we highly recommend that the owner of the 529 plan have the funds electronically transferred to their own bank account and then make a one-time payment through the student account center. This will allow you to have documentation that the funds disbursed to the student account, as well as save on the time delay in receiving and processing a paper check.
Payment Plan: Assumption University offers a monthly payment plan administered by Nelnet. The Monthly Payment Plan allows you to spread your education expenses over smaller monthly installments, which are paid over the course of the semester. The fall 2022 payment plan starts July 1 with enrollment opening June 29,2022. The July 1 payment and the enrollment fee are due upon enrollment.
Once you have made your initial payment with your enrollment fee within student account center you will then select your monthly payment due date the 1st or 15th of the month. With the following payment due August 1 or 15, September 1 or 15 and October 1 or 15.
After July 22, a 3-month payment plan is available. Enrollment in the payment plan is easily made through the Student Account Center in the student portal or with your Authorized party online account.
Please note that delinquent payment plans will be canceled, and the outstanding balance is immediately due. Also, the student will no longer be eligible to participate in the monthly payment plan option for future semesters.
