A workshop on leadership development that engages current and emerging student leaders

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to unsettle our lives. Although it is comforting and perhaps even necessary to take a break from the stress of daily life, at some point we all come to acknowledge various kinds of urgency at this time. We can turn these different degrees of urgency to help us better understand who we are, the contexts that shape us, and what we must do in the face of these disconcerting experiences and despairing emotions. All students are welcome to join this conversation on opportunities for meaning and purpose.

Students who participate in at least five workshops will receive a leadership certificate and an Assumption T-shirt.

Male students are welcome to engage in a supportive space to discuss discernment of one’s vocation including ordained ministry, religious life, marriage, or the single life. Small group settings provide an opportunity for students to engage in meaningful conversation with individuals who share a desire to serve. All meetings are held via Zoom on Wednesdays at 3 p.m.

Charismatic Praise is a student led event that includes live praise and worship music complemented by brief reflections from students. All Hounds are welcome to join with other Hounds every other Tuesday for this popular program offered by Campus Ministry. Please click on a date(s) below to sign-up.

Assumption will offer a monthly live-streamed version of the Sunday 7 PM Mass throughout the summer featuring student participation. All Hounds are invited to join the Assumption community for Mass! Masses will be livestreamed on the Campus Ministry Facebook page.

Advance your degree program. Catch-up. Assumption's summer courses provide students the opportunity to complete a semester-long course in only six weeks. Summer courses provide the same academic rigor, but provide considerable savings for families.

2020 Summer Semester

Amid the pandemic that has disrupted so many lives, Assumption created a $3 million fund to enable students to begin or continue their degree program. Created to provide additional assistance to our students and families who may have become unemployed, were furloughed or are enduring a reduction in hours, this fund provides support to keep our Hound family together.
