Music Guide for Mass

At the end of each academic year, we celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of students who have completed their academic journeys. While this year’s Commencement has been rescheduled from May to August, the College community still wishes to recognize the official date upon which degrees shall be conferred upon the members of the Class of 2020 who have met all of their requirements, marking the completion of their academic program.

President Francesco C. Cesareo, Ph.D., Provost and Academic Vice President Greg Weiner, Ph.D., and Vice President for Mission Father Richard Lamoureux, A.A., Ph.D., will host an online Conferral of Degrees Ceremony on Sunday, May 10 at 6:30 p.m., livestreamed from the Chapel of the Holy Spirit on this page. Immediately following this brief ceremony recognizing the Class of 2020, a special Mass for seniors will be livestreamed from the Chapel.

This ceremony is one of many efforts to recognize the candidates for graduation and their families who have guided students to this important milestone in their lives. Despite the COVID-19 situation, we have decided to celebrate this momentous occasion and the achievements of our seniors virtually in May through this conferral ceremony and again in August, when we shall gather in person for the Commencement ceremony.

Please know that this Conferral of Degrees Ceremony does not replace the Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement scheduled for August 22 and 23, respectively.
