Welcome to Assumption College Student Accounts

The following information is provided in order for you to understand the student account billing process and due dates.

We hope this will help make the transition to college a little less confusing.  In order to create charges onto the student accounts students need to be enrolled and housed.  The deadline for enrollment and housing is June 28, 2017.  Once complete we will be able to generate charges and billing statements.  Fall 2017 billing statements will be available through the Student Account Center in student portal by the end of the week of July 7, 2017.

Fall 2017 semester payment is due on July 27, 2017.

Spring 2018 semester payment is due December 19, 2017.

Assumption College follows a policy of directly billing the student. Bills for each semester are available prior to the beginning of each semester. Students receive their billing statements electronically through the student portal. Students need to log into the student portal and click on the Student Account Center tab, which is located on the right under web advisor. Once a student has logged into the Student Account Center, they may grant parents and guardians access through the Manage Account Access tab. The parent or guardian will then receive an email from TMS (who we have partnered with) that they have been granted access.

If you have applied for financial aid and received a financial aid award letter, the amount of financial aid will appear as a pending status on the bill.

If you are planning to pay your bill by MEFA, Plus or other loans, you will need to be approved, complete necessary promissory note, and if needed, be certified by Financial Aid for Assumption College to know that the funds are secure as payment.  Plus loans and some other loans have an origination fee withheld by the lender. If you have questions concerning this process please contact the Financial Aid office at 508-767-7158.

Assumption College offers a convenient monthly payment plan through Tuition Management Systems. The Monthly Payment Plan provides an opportunity to spread out education expenses over smaller monthly installments, which are paid over the course of the semester.  The only cost is a $40 per semester enrollment fee. The fall 2017 plan starts June 1st with enrollment opening May 18, 2017.  The June 1 payment and the enrollment fee are due upon enrollment with the payments due on July 1, August 1, September 1 and October 1. If you chose to enroll and do not know your balance, estimate your budget to start. All payment plan payments are due the 1st of the month. Delinquent plans will be cancelled and the balance is immediately due. The student will no longer be eligible to participate in the monthly payment plan option for future semesters. The Deadline for enrolling in a fall 2017 semester payment plan with TMS is July 27, 2017. You may enroll after June 1 with all back payments being made at time of enrollment. After July 1, a four month payment plan is available. The July 1 payment and the enrollment fee are due upon enrollment with payments due August 1, September 1 and October 1.  Enrollment is easy and made through the Student Account Center in student portal or with your user credentials at http://assumption.afford.com. To enroll by phone, please call 1-800-279-1914.

Massachusetts State Law requires that all full-time students have minimal medical coverage and has placed an obligation on colleges to enforce this regulation. All students are billed for this coverage but may waive the charge if they can prove comparable medical coverage. Students may waive this coverage electronically through the Student Account Center. The rate for 2017/2018 is $2,240.

Some courses carry additional fees. For example, graphic design includes a fee of $115; digital photography,  $175; and education practicum fee, $500. Please note that science majors enrolled in a natural science 4 credit course are charged a fee of $400 per lab.

There is also a one-time International Student fee of $1,000.
