The Assumption College HumanArts series presents an organ recital featuring Pr. Dr. Marie-Bernadette Dufourcet. The program will include French music from the Romantic period to the 20th century (Widor, Franck, Tournemire, Duruflé, Dufourcet, Hakim), completed by an improvisation on Gregorian chant proper to the liturgical time. A FEAST OF BAROQUE CONCERTOS

The Bach Consort of Worcester returns to open the 2016-2017 HumanArts series with a guest artist on the Baroque recorder, Héloïse Degrugillier. The Consort will also be continuing their series of concerti grossi, featuring Handel’s Concerto Grosso op. 6 no. 1, and Corelli’s Concerto Grosso op. 6 no. 7.

This concert is free and open to the public.
